My family and I have called Olivehurst home since 1997. I have two children and  four grandchildren. My son and my oldest grandson both graduated from Lindhurst High School. I opened my business here in 2009 and have been involved in this community since. Myself and friends formed the the non-profit SoYouCan to benefit the south county. Through the non-profit, we have hosted the Olivehurst Christmas parade since 2010 and Operation Turkey Swap, which helps over two hundred of our less fortunate neighbors annually.

I have held a seat on the Olivehurst Public Utilities District board of Directors since 2012. I am very proud of the accomplishments we have made during my tenure. I have sat on each of the committees during this time but the last two years I have sat on the Fire and  Ad Hoc committees that have worked to keep the Fire Department financially sustainable. Early in my first term, we were able to find extra monies to help fund the Olivehurst parks. With this money, the parks have been better maintained for local families to enjoy. Lastly, we have been able to find funding for the Olivehurst pool. The pool is the last of the public pools in the county and as a board we refuse to allow it to close. It has been my honor to serve on the Opud board , working with the OPUD staff and my fellow board members.
